EAU CLAIRE — The “Gardens in Bloom” annual garden excursion is ready for Saturday, July 13. The tour is subsidized by the Eau Claire Garden Club. This year’s excursion features seven specific gardens on the west side of Eau Claire with historical and current designs. Several of the gardens have breathtaking views of the metropolis. Tour hours are from 9 a.m. To 4 p.m., rain or shine.
Each of the seven gardens provides a possibility to locate notions in huge or small outdoor projects. Among the web sites in this year’s tour are a secluded sanctuary garden; a sustainable garden showcasing solar and geothermal installations; an Asian-stimulated design with pagoda and tea house; a whimsical lawn combining plant life, herbs and greens; an ancient domestic web page with more than a hundred kinds of daylilies; a garden incorporating conventional automobiles; a aromatic walk amongst beds full of roses and wisteria; and beautiful overlooks of the metropolis and its rivers.
In addition, a Garden Marketplace at one of the excursion websites permits excursion visitors to browse and save from a massive selection of creative garden crafts, paintings, and plants. Tour guests will need to snap a memorable photograph of themselves the use of one of the “photo frames” to be had in the gardens. Lunch will also be to be had for purchase at one of the lawn websites for the duration of the excursion from eleven a.m. To 4 p.m., with catering provided through Big Stack Meat & Catering.
Tickets are $15 and are available at all three Eau Claire Festival Foods stores or on the eauclairegardenclub.com website. Tickets may also be purchased at any of the respective lawn tour places on the day of the occasion.
Proceeds from the Gardens in Bloom tour help fund a furnished software assisting community garden tasks and horticultural schooling around the Chippewa Valley.
