NOIDA: Nearly 12 months after the July crumble, Shahberi citizens are still expecting justice as there may be no conclusive future for the assets they’d offered, which the Greater Noida Authority has now sealed.
According to Authority estimates, there are nearly 1,000 homes with floor-plus flooring and about 450 homes with four or five stories. Over five 000 homebuyers have houses in Shahberi. However, it remains unclear as to what turns into them.
On May 21, the case filed by using citizens was quashed by way of RERA, declaring that Shahberi no longer comes under its purview. The citizens carried out again, adding the Greater Noida Authority as a celebration to the case.
“The location cannot continue to be under life forever. Even if a person brings the material to fix a damaged avenue, police and authority officers stop working. We don’t have the fundamental infrastructure,” stated Abhinav Khare, a resident and homebuyer in Shahberi.
Anti-encroachment and sealing drives continue, because of which renovation of roads and drains is no longer possible. Officials said that, considering there may be a stay order, no creation of any type is permitted.
“We sealed 3 homes and eliminated encroachment 4 times based on court cases,” stated a GNIDA legitimate.
The Authority had acquired 156 hectares in Shahberi village for deliberate business improvement. However, farmers filed a case announcing they received little reimbursement for their land. On May 12, 2011, the Allahabad HC directed the government to return the belongings, and the place became denotified. Since 2011, there has been rampant production and sale of belongings here. Over 1,000 sale deeds have been done with resources within the district administration in the past two years.
The properties sealed in Shahberi remain closed, and people who’ve invested have received no reaction from the government on whether these may be reopened or if they’ll get reimbursement.
