This year, MINI is celebrating its sixtieth anniversary. Yep, our favorite little vehicle with heaps of power and person has made for the right pocket rocket considering 1959.
To mark the occasion in a high-quality way and in a manner that facilitates painting the MINI logo for all it is glory, they’ve teamed up with Body & Soul Music and Arts Festival (in it is tenth year!) to head all out.
MINI and Body & Soul are on a project to discover a creative who can put their talents to work. They want to collaborate with YOU and come up with the maximum fantastic, inventive, suitable-vibe MINI set up spaces within the woods of Ballinlough itself.
The artist chosen will receive a €10,000 layout bursary for the development of the new installation at Body & Soul, plus weekend tickets to Body & Soul for them AND their crew!
They’ll be looking for the vicinity to apply area creatively (the subject being: Creative Use of Space) and grow to be a focus, both day and night, for pictures, talks, and discussions among pageant-goers.
The entire idea is to have all people’s eyes interested in the design, have them intrigued by means of the architecturally charming 360-degree piece, take cues from the logo’s records and historical past, plus encapsulate the MINI brand at the same time as mixing harmoniously with Body & Soul’s 2019 theme – ‘Ritual.’
Submissions might be assessed by representatives from MINI, Body & Soul’s Head of Design, Mary Pike, and Nathalie Weadick, Director of the Irish Architecture Foundation.
