Mumbai: Ikea of Sweden AB claims its Billy Bookcase is offered somewhere in the world every 5 seconds. But this iconic product isn’t always at the bestselling list in India, in which more magnificent mundane gadgets consisting of mattresses and cutlery are the most popular at its sole Indian save in Hyderabad.
“We needed to do a little edition of our products,” Jesper Brodin, chief executive of Ikea Group, stated in an interview. “I think we’re tapping in with the right merchandise at the proper rate tiers, in a way-to the marketplace studies we discovered about (Indian) houses and those.”
