Queo and AD100 honour India’s most-influential architects, interior designers

1 Mins read

Queo, a leading luxury bathroom brand from the house of HSIL, associated with the Architectural Digest India for the AD100 2019 list.
AD 100 is an event felicitating architects and interior designers from across the subcontinent.
Showcasing the finest in the industry, accolades were given to the best in craftsmanship and architecture and the best designed houses at the event. Celebrating the spirit of collaboration, Sandip Somany, vice-chairman and MD, HSIL Ltd, and president, FICCI, presented an award for ‘Collaboration of the Year’ to SP+A & Tarun Tahiliani.
The architecture of any inhabited space cannot overlook the consideration of an impeccable bathroom design. This invaluable confluence of architecture and bathroom design led Queo and AD India to come up with a book of inspiration and solution — The Art of Bathing — which was released at the AD100 event.

The collaboration features some of India’s most notable who talk about what bathroom designs mean to them, along with the latest trends in the industry.
With attention to encapsulating the application of these latest design trends, it also offers a peek into Queo’s hall of fame — the European desig ners who are the master craftsmen of Queo.
Somany said, “Today, home owners globally consider seamless functionality and high emotional expression as the epitome of good bathroom design. We believe that Queo products are perfectly placed to create t hese modern ‘bath lounges’. The Art of Bathing — a first-of-its-kind collaboration with Architectural Digest and established architects — has brought this brand philosophy to life. It’s been a pleasure creating this experience and we hope it inspires beautiful bathroom designs in India.”
